Student Experience
Realizing a strong, engaged, and healthy community
At Northwestern, an increasingly diverse student body, rigorous academics, and countless opportunities to explore one’s passions can make for some of the most exhilarating experiences in a student’s life. Such a dynamic university also requires support for this community representing a multitude of backgrounds, abilities, and interests.
The Division of Student Affairs, together with the Office of the Provost, offers a range of services and programs that maximize student potential, remove barriers to learning, and sustain a healthy and engaged community.
Gifts to Student Experience will help students succeed during their time at Northwestern by investing in these priorities:
- Experiential learning: Making the hands-on opportunities that complement coursework—such as internships, study abroad, and independent research—accessible to more students and easier to navigate
- Creating campus community: Providing welcoming gathering and collaboration spaces on campus and supporting and bridging student groups including the LGBT, Greek, and multicultural student communities
- Student well-being and enrichment: Offering the resources and services that keep students safe and help them thrive, develop, and make responsible choices
Direct your gift to an individual program or office, or give to the Student Life Gift Fund, which provides Student Affairs with resources to seed new initiatives and sustain ongoing services and opportunities for students.
